Commercial Director Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve revenue growth across all business segments.
- Lead and mentor sales, marketing, and procurement teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and penetrate untapped segments while strengthening existing client relationships.
- Oversee commercial contracts, negotiations, and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners, to drive business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in Qatar’s dynamic market.
Commercial Director Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years in a commercial, sales, or revenue-generating role, preferably in the Middle East. Experience in hospitality, aviation, or construction is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in revenue management tools and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of international commercial laws and Qatar’s market dynamics.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
- Other: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and a passion for driving business growth.
Commercial Director Salary and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: QAR 45,000 – 65,000 (approximately USD 12,350 – 17,850), depending on experience.
