Sandblasters and Spray Painters Oil & Gas Industry We are seeking highly skilled and experienced sandblasters and spray painters to work on oil and gas industry projects in Qatar. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in industrial painting and coating, specifically within oil refineries, pipelines, offshore structures, and heavy equipment.

Sandblasters and Spray Painters: This role demands precision, technical expertise, and strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure that all surfaces meet the required industry standards. Candidates must have experience working in hazardous environments and be familiar with coatings designed for extreme conditions, corrosion protection, and high-temperature resistance.

Sandblasters and Spray Painters Key Responsibilities

✅ Surface Preparation & Sandblasting:

• Removing rust, old paint, and contaminants from oil & gas equipment, pipelines, and offshore structures
• Using abrasive blasting techniques such as dry and wet blasting, grit blasting, and shot blasting
• Selecting appropriate abrasives, nozzles, and air pressure settings based on oil and gas industry standards
• Ensuring proper masking and covering of areas that should not be blasted

✅ Spray Painting & Coating Application:

• Applying specialized coatings such as fireproofing, anti-corrosion, and epoxy coatings for oil & gas structures
• Using airless spray guns, electrostatic spray systems, and brush/roller applications
• Ensuring precise thickness control (DFT & WFT) for long-lasting protective coatings
• Performing multi-layer coating applications to meet industry specifications

✅ Quality Control & Safety Compliance:

• Conducting adhesion tests, film thickness measurements, and visual inspections
• Ensuring coatings meet ISO, NACE, or SSPC standards for oil and gas projects
• Using PPE (respirators, protective suits, and safety harnesses) in hazardous environments
• Adhering to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines and workplace safety protocols

✅ Equipment Handling & Maintenance:

• Operating and maintaining sandblasting machines, compressors, and spray guns
• Conducting routine inspections and troubleshooting of painting and blasting equipment
• Ensuring proper disposal of hazardous materials following environmental regulations

✅ Teamwork & Project Coordination:

• Collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and safety officers to meet project deadlines
• Working on offshore and onshore sites as required
• Adapting to different job site conditions and working in high-risk environments

Requirements

✔️ 3+ years of experience in sandblasting and spray painting in the oil & gas industry
✔️ Knowledge of industrial coatings, corrosion protection, and surface preparation techniques
✔️ Ability to work in offshore, refineries, petrochemical plants, and pipeline projects
✔️ Familiarity with coating specifications (NACE, SSPC, ISO, ASTM)
✔️ Experience working in high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive environments
✔️ Ability to use inspection tools such as DFT meters, adhesion testers, and surface profile gauges
✔️ Strong understanding of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations
✔️ Physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces and heights
✔️ GCC experience is preferred
✔️ Available for immediate joining (preferred)
