About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with 5+ years of experience in the Gulf region, specifically within the hospitality industry, to join our well-established client in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and optimizing SAP solutions to enhance operational efficiency, guest experiences, and revenue management in the hospitality sector. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to deliver tailored SAP solutions that meet the unique needs of the industry.
As an SAP Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the way our client manages their operations, leveraging SAP systems to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementation & Customization:
- Lead the implementation and customization of SAP modules (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP HCM) for hospitality clients.
- Design and configure SAP systems to align with hospitality-specific processes such as reservations, guest services, housekeeping, and revenue management.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure SAP solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of the hospitality industry.
2. System Integration:
- Integrate SAP systems with third-party hospitality applications, such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Ensure seamless data flow between SAP and other operational systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain system performance.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with hospitality management teams to identify pain points and propose SAP-driven solutions.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure effective adoption of SAP systems.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
4. Support & Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support for SAP systems, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and system upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of SAP systems to minimize downtime and disruptions.
5. Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop customized reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for hospitality operations.
- SAP Consultant should be able to utilize SAP analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Help management teams leverage SAP data to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
6. Compliance & Security:
- Ensure SAP systems comply with industry standards and data security regulations.
- Implement best practices for data protection and user access management.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Consultant, with a focus on the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience working as SAP Consultant in the Gulf region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, or Bahrain).
- Strong understanding of hospitality-specific processes and systems, such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, and HCM.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of system integration and data flow.
- Familiarity with third-party hospitality applications and their integration with SAP systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Certifications:
- SAP certification in relevant modules is highly desirable for this SAP Consultant role.
